Good sentences are made up of independent and dependent clauses, glued together with coordinating or subordinate conjunctions, and commas.

A good paragraph has one complete idea that is supported by details. It is constructed with a topic sentence, supporting details ("For example..."), and a conclusion or clincher sentence.
